Hello world!

Well! I’m so late to the blogging party that even the hangers-on (*cough* Blogspot *cough*) have come and gone. But! A wise man once said, “Better late than never”, and an even wiser man — a wizard in fact — said, “A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to”. So, all things considered I’m going to start blogging now anyways.

My aim with this blog is simple: to write about machine learning, my research, and whatever other random things I may fancy at a given time. Mostly, however, it’ll be about machine learning and my research. You can look forward to (hopefully) detailed technical articles about state-of-the-art algorithms, and expositions of vexing unsolved problems with peoples’ approaches to solve them (and mine too!).
